What exactly is Drama Kids?

Drama Kids is an acting academy for children in the age group of 4 to 16 years. Our award winning curriculum boasts of fresh, new activities each week for the entire semester. Every lesson has specific educational goals. The underlying goal is to create self-confident, poised speakers in a variety of situations. Many of our students have reported getting A’s and A+ in speech, projects and book reports in school.

What exactly do you do in a Drama Kids class?
The curriculum used is an award winning curriculum and is extremely dynamic. The Drama Kids classes are high-energy and offer dynamic activities that help a child realize their full potential. The full year programs have two performances per year, a shorter mid-year presentation and a longer costumed play. At Drama Kids we believe that all of our students should have the opportunity to participate fully…and they do. At Drama Kids every student is a star. We do not nominate Best Actors
as we try and cultivate a safe, stress free, non competitive environment of learning and team work in which students feel comfortable to achieve their own personal best.
In addition to the single lesson workshops and year program curriculums, we also provide one or two month modules, or whatever is requested. We can teach an audition workshop, character and scene analysis classes, vocal technique workshops, a class in comedy and a variety of other skills in a myriad of configurations.
